On Monday, June 9, the Ellis County Commissioners Court recognized the 2014 Ennis Lady Lions softball team for their outstanding season. The Lady Lions advanced to the Class 4A State Softball playoffs in May, ending their thrilling year with 39 wins, 6 losses, and one tie to secure their title as 2nd place in the class 4A State Softball Champions.
